Mita Kundu a popular singer, has demonstrated her prolific talents extensively in Kolkata, the U.S., and Canada. In India, her programs were broadcast on prominent television channels like All India Doordarshan, Tara Bangla TV, ETV Bangla, and Akash Bangla, as well as on All India Radio and leading FM radio channels, and American radio networks in both Atlanta, Georgia, and Portland, Oregon.

Mita was one of the lead performers at the 2005 Silver Jubilee North American Bengali Conference (NABC) celebration at Madison Square Garden in New York, sharing the stage with top Indian artists. From 1997 to 2005, Mita was a regular performer at the NABC all over U.S.A.

For several years, Mita performed for the Nargis Dutt Cancer Foundation, which was founded by Bollywood superstar, director, and producer Mr. Sunil Dutt. Mr. Sunil Dutt expressed his appreciation for Mita, after her performance at a Nargis Dutt Cancer Foundation fundraiser saying: "I have been really been touched by Mita's beautiful songs"
